Online Alcohol and Other Drug Education Sessions for UMBC Students

What Are The Haven’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Education Sessions?

The Haven’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Education sessions are provided at no charge to UMBC students and are designed to assist you in examining your drinking, cannabis and other drug use in a non-judgmental, non-confrontational manner. Our goal is to help you reduce risky behavior and harmful consequences associated with high-risk substance use by assisting you in selecting strategies that are best for you.

The first step is to schedule an appointment below. This online session will take place via a safe and confidential HIPAA-compliant platform with a trained The Haven provider. Based on that appointment, you will be assigned to two follow-up educational sessions. The Haven provider will answer to any questions you have about this process in the first appointment.
